Recent Projects

Here are some of our highlights over the last couple of years:

Huhtamaki

In House Technologies has been working with Huhtamaki to develop a CD-ROM induction CBT. The project will be used on some 12 sites throughout Australia and New Zealand. It is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2002.

At Ricoh we have an ongoing documentation and training consultancy where we have worked closely with Ricoh's managers, systems administrators, trainers and software developers.

Since April 2000, we have been

• developing user documentation
• developing IT systems documentation
• developing training manuals
• developing computer based training courseware
• supporting the IT Help Desk
• mentoring IT department trainers
• writing service level agreements
• providing advice

Towards the end of 2000, we successfully tendered to produce an interactive multimedia CBT . The purpose of the program was to make managers more aware of workplace safety, health and environment issues ( SHEQ ).

The CBT, called Management Responsibility for SHEQ was delivered on time and on budget and features

• a video introduction by Tony Isaac, Chief Executive
• a number of interactive content modules
• interactive case studies, some featuring video
• a comprehensive self-assessment

The program has been nominated for an innovation award within BOC.

We originally developed Flexi CD in 1998 and were commissioned in late 2000 to update the program.

Flexi CD is a tool to help make the delivery of learning much more flexible, so that it better fits learners' needs. It is based around a methodology called GLLADRRAPPS$, which was developed by Anne Walsh. The Flexi CD is in integral component in BACE's Flexi Learning Kit. Not only is it a tool, it contains a training component to help users understand the key concepts of the GLLADRRAPPS$ methodology.

Features include:

• audio "guide" throughout
• use of video in the introduction
• support for multiple users
• saving of user data
• facility to transfer data to other PCs running the Flexi CD software
• print function
• ability to work with the data in other applications, such as spreadsheets

During 1999 and 2000 we provided documentation and intranent development services to Tactics. Projects included intranets for Energex and Vodafone .

We have been working Reflective Blinds , a small Sydney-based manufacturer since 1999. In that time, we have provided numerous IT services and have taken them from running two 486 PCs to a full networked environment including

• 24 x 7 networked internet connection complete with firewall
• rock solid file server running the ever reliable OS/2 Warp Server
• Win98 and WinNT clients
• networked fax
• web site and email hosting
